Get Involved

Camps, Workshops and Activities

Kansas OMK welcomes your interest and involvement in support of military youth and families. There are many ways you can get involved.

If you are part of a service organization, church or other group you can:

  • Provide transportation to doctor's appointments and sports practices
  • Sponsor a military support network in a business or neighborhood
  • Organize a work day to get things done around a military family's home
  • Give gift cards for practical items and school supplies

Families and individuals should consider simple things that make a tangible difference:

  • Offer to mow a family's yard or shovel snow from their driveway
  • Volunteer with grocery shopping or babysit
  • Listen when a military family member needs to talk

July 20-30, 2014: OMK Camp in Wichita, KS
